High-strength oval carabiner

The Petzl Oxan carabiner is a symmetrical, high-strength steel carabiner designed for use in difficult environments. The oval shape allows optimal loading of the carabiner when setting up anchors or connecting to metal structures.

This carabiner can be used with a Petzl CAPTIV positioning bar (sold separately) to promote loading the carabiner along the major axis to limit the risk of rotation, and to keep it integrated with the device.
