Kong BACK-UP ANSI Rope Grab Complete

This is the ANSI-certified version of the well-known Kong BACK-UP rope grab.

The Kong BACK-UP is safe and simple to use with only one hand! It is a revolutionary fall arrester that follows the operator in both directions. It features a unique locking cam configuration and moves up or down the rope freely, without manual intervention, engaging only during a fall, slide, or uncontrolled descent. With the button in “lock” mode, it can also be used as a positioning device or a normal locking device.

Due to its special manufacture, the Kong BACK-UP arrests the strongest falls in a semi-dynamic way that avoids the shocking effects that traditional self-locking devices with toothed cams can have on the rope.

The Kong BACK-UP comes complete with a Kong Ovalone triple-lock ANSI carabiner and a 12 inch web lanyard.
