Why Is This System So Much More Expensive Than A DI-Only System?

The HydroSphere ExpressCart is a multi-stage system, which means it has multiple filters to remove particles from the water. This includes an RO membrane that does the majority of the filtering. The RO membrane filters 80%-90% of the particles out of the water, prolonging the life of the DI filter. This allows the system to purify water with much higher levels of TDS than a DI-only system and still give you long filter life.

The HydroSphere ExpressCart can filter water with TDS levels up to 500 or more and still maintain longer filter life!

Is The HydroSphere ExpressCart Easy To Use & Maintain?

Yes! The HydroSphere ExpressCart is very easy to use and maintain.

To get going, all you have to do is hook up the system to the water source and run water until all the air is out of the line (1-2 minutes). Then you can start cleaning.

The filters are all easy to change. In fact, they’re non-proprietary, meaning you can easily find replacement carbon filters and the DI cartridge is refillable with any charged, loose DI resin.

Maintenance is minimal. Just make sure to run water through the system at least once a month. This is to keep the RO membrane from drying out.

The biggest thing is to make sure the system does not freeze. Store it somewhere like a basement if you live in an area that has freezing weather.
